The TPP

May 2, 2014

Many countries around the world are currently negotiating to sign a broad free trade agreement that gives a number of rights to corporations over the laws of countries. In effect, the Trans Pacific Partnership, if signed, would eliminate a number of freedoms on the internet, and democratic powers. Along with that, it will make it easier for corporations to hide harmful contents in food, and privatize essential resources, like water. This is something everyone should know about, but is being massively downplayed in the mainstream media, while we are instead distracted by inconsequential stories. Educate yourself about it and others as well. This is something that is going to effect the average person dramatically in the future.
